Trash Scouts empowers people to reclaim the human experience through shared goals, skill-building, creativity, and community. We’re an open community that pursues new goals through earning merit badges called GarBadges.
GarBadges are merit badges that Trash Scouts can earn either on their own or with their local group, known as a Dumpster. GarBadges are a self-rewarding system – you do not need to prove that you earned them! However, if you’d like to share your progress, you’re more than welcome to join the GarBadge specific conversations on our Discord Server.
All GarBadges are available three ways:
- A digital download, available through the Garbadge database. These are free, and you are welcome to use them as you’d like, except selling them!
- A vinyl sticker
- An embroidered patch.

You finish one book on your TBR that is ALREADY on your shelf! Either physically or digitally
If you don’t have one on your shelf, try to get one from your local library.
